Meet the Gastroenterology Doctors!
Dr. Meah, M.D
Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Over 12 years of experience in this community; graduated with his medical degree from Chittagong Medical College. He obtained subsequent Post-Doctoral training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
He is a Rotary Foundation Scholar for International Understanding. His three years of Internal Medicine Residency and three years of Gastroenterology Fellowship were completed at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Meah’s research interest was mainly on Colorectal cancers and some of his works have been published in respected medical publications.
Dr. Siddiqui, M.D
Board Certified in Gastroenterology; Board Certifieed in Internal Medicine.
Premedical Education: UCL, University of London- External Program. O’ and A’ level
Graduated with his medical degree from Punjab Medical College.
His three years of Internal Medicine Residency and three years of Gastroenterology Fellowship were completed at Bronx Lebanon Hospital, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, NY
During his residency and fellowship, he was selected as the Chief Resident and also Chief Fellow.
Dr. Siddiqu’s research interest was mainly on Gastrointestinal bleeding post Cardiac stents, gastric ulcer follow up and uncommon Colonic tumors. Some of his work has been presented at various GI societies’ annual meetings.
Yuny Hwang, AGNP (Nurse Practitioner)
Board certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner by American nurses Credentialing
Center and licensed by the State of Texas to provide patient-centered health care for adult-gerontology population.
Yuny has an outstanding academic background that include a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, and a Master of Science in Nursing at Duke University, Durham, North Carolina.
She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and American American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Her scope of practice encompassed disease prevention, especially colon cancer screening as a preventative care, and diagnosis and management of common Gastroenterology problems. She seeks to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking time to listen and understand their needs.
Hazel Aguda
Hazel Aguda has been practicing nursing for over 13 years and graduated with an outstanding academic background. She is board certified in Family Nurse Practitioner since graduating from Prairie View A&M University and completing a Master’s program.
Her special interests include: American Red Cross, licensed medical volunteer (2020)
Chevron Houston Marathon Race crew medical volunteer. She also was part of the
disaster response team at Memorial Herman hospital during hurricane Harvey.
Her scope of practice encompasses primary care and disease prevention through colon cancer screening and use of evidence based practice to diagnose and manage common GI disorders. Through effective listening, and interpersonal skills, she seeks to provide a comprehensive evaluation of each patient and their individual needs.
Hazel is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Nurse Practitioner specialty practice group-gastroenterology, the American College of Gastroenterology and Houston Area Nurse Practitioners.
